With our extensive work experience and knowledge in the field of construction, we provide the most accurate and precise as-built drawings for commercial structures across all 50 of the United States as well as Puerto Rico and Canada. Our mission is to ensure the success of our clients’ projects by providing the best as-built drawings on the market.
Our history
Founded in 2004, National As Built Inc. works with engineers, architects, building owners, designers, and tenants seeking as-built services. Our commitment to accuracy and extensive knowledge has allowed National As Built Inc. to excel in commercial preconstruction planning and our clients to succeed in building projects thanks to strong foundational preparations.
Using AutoCAD software and the latest laser measurement equipment, our expert team collects all necessary field data to create as-built drawings and site reports. Our reports are generated for use in tracking vital engineering, architectural, and construction management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Our processes and tools
Our methodology for success is simple: we approach each of our projects in a holistic manner, recognizing that each and every component of our service is crucial for the foundation of the project. Our comprehensive services and attention to quality enable us to produce field survey reports and as-built drawings with the highest degree of accuracy and consistent drawing coordination.
With each passing year, our team has embraced innovations. The field of laser technology has made dramatic improvements in the quality and speed of data collection. Some of the tools we use at National As Built Inc. include:
- AutoCAD: We utilize the latest available version of AutoCAD software to create quality DWG and PDF files, and a convenience delivery of the survey package using Dropbox.
- LEICA Laser measurements: The LEICA Laser device allows us to achieve accuracy to 1/32” over 300 feet (per manufacturer’s manual).
- Photography:
We use high-resolution digital cameras for all imagery.

All as-built services and site plans produced by National As Built Inc. should be treated as general references for designs and should not be mistaken for or should not be substituted for the material and assistance that can be provided by licensed and registered structural, architects, and engineers. In addition, National As Built Inc. is committed to providing it clients with a high degree of accuracy and precision in the work it supplies. However, some of the works submitted are and can be subject to human error, in which case it is the responsibility of the licensed contractors, designers, and architects on site to ensure that the plans provided are correct and suitable for use. In the event that an error does occur in the plans provided by National As Built Inc., we will revisit the site to verify the initial information gathered and to make the necessary changes needed to correct the drawings. Furthermore, the site plans produced by National As Built Inc. do not determine the location or boundaries of any property lines.
